My family and I moved from Hong Kong to Canada when I was 12 so I grew up with a strong work ethic of nothing is handed to you, you have to earn it yourself. After graduating from the University of Toronto, I accepted a scholarship to Northwestern University in Chicago. It was there that both my personal and professional journey began. I met my wife in dental school, started my first job with Heartland Dental in 1999, and for the past 18 years was an integral part of Heartland Dental’s growth from 13 practices, $13mm revenue in 1999 to 800 practices, $1.3 billion revenue in 2017.

Keisha Lewis

Chief Operations Officer

After over 12 years with Heartland Dental in various capacities, she oversaw the development of systems and processes for the Clinical Team, led companywide practice growth initiatives in adopting new clinical technologies and established the clinical evaluation process for clinical technologies, instruments and materials, to reduce procurement cost, while maintaining high standard of care. 

She was integral in the development of the training curriculum and implementation process of digital intraoral scanners for Heartland, which led to double-digit same-store sales growth in 2016-2017, before the KKR majority transaction in 2018. She enjoys traveling, speaking, and attending TED conferences in her spare time. She is also passionate about women advocacy in Dentistry.  

Amanda Tebbe

Chief Strategy Officer

Amanda joined SOHDental in 2020 as a visionary and results-oriented executive with significant experience in strategic business plan development and execution for market penetration, business development, product/service launch, and customer relationship management.

Her experience prior to SOHDental includes over 10 years of leadership experience with Heartland Dental and Patterson companies. She successfully leveraged key client relationships into top-line revenue through strategic/tactical leadership, ongoing process improvements, problem-solving, staff training, and quality assurances/data analytics. She is an excellent influencer, communicator, and relationship builder with the ability to successfully articulate vision/mission with data, drive consensus, and achieve strong results. She is a great team leader and trainer with the ability to attract and retain high performers through a focus on individual results within a team environment. Amanda enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Jacob Bugger

Chief Financial Officer

Jacob joined the SOHDental executive team in 2022 and has over 15 years of broad and diversified experience in finance, economics, operations, and compliance. Throughout the years he has worked in both the public and private sectors, along with owning his own business. His education and experiences, both positive and at times challenging, provided the groundwork necessary to be a successful leader.

Prior to joining SOHDental, Jacob held positions at Rockwood Management Corporation, Mercer Investments, Matter Family Office, and owned and operated his own business. Throughout his various positions, Jacob developed into an executive who understands the value of integrity, communication, innovation, and collaboration. Jacob is also an expert when it comes to evaluating and expanding processes to help improve internal controls and compliance.

In his spare time Jacob enjoys traveling, hiking, biking, kickboxing, playing various instruments, and spending time with his family and friends.
